Predator Trapping

You’ve got to out wit the wily and be more curious than the cat can handle, if you want to be a successful trapper. To catch a Bobcat, Gray Fox or Coyote, sometimes it takes thinking like one.

Predator management activities such as trapping bring balance and stability to an otherwise ugly boom and bust cycle within many furbearer populations. A boom can eventually lead to severe disease outbreaks which lead to animals dying of starvation, and other long painful deaths.
Trapping predators can increase the survival of turkey poults, quail chicks, and deer fawns. Increased hatch rates along with increased turkey, quail, rabbit, squirrel, and deer survival ultimately mean more hunting opportunity for you.
